Mediation

Mediation is a process by which an impartial third party called a mediator helps people in conflict negotiate a mutually acceptable agreement.

Nationally accredited mediators facilitates communication, promotes understanding, assists the parties to identify their needs and interests, and uses creative problem-solving techniques to enable the parties to reach their own agreement.
Mediation gives parties much more control over the way their dispute or difference is dealt with and over the outcome. Mediation is an alternative to pursuing litigation or other more formal processes. The scope for solutions is usually greater than the remedies available in courts and tribunals, or even in prolonged negotiations.

Conflict Coaching

Conflict Coaching

Conflict Coaching is an innovative practice where individual clients are guided through a conflict situation by a trained coach, allowing them to deal with conflict more effectively. The coach asks insightful and powerful questions so the client gains some understanding of the causes of the conflict and the rationale that can maintain and escalate it. Conflict coaching can be used as an early intervention when the client is reluctant or ill-prepared to engage with the other party.

A conflict coach supports the client in fully exploring their options in managing current and/or future conflict situations. The conflict coach can assist the client by helping them develop practical skills that work, or by helping them prepare for a mediation or challenging conversation.

QuinnEssentials offer conflict coaching for executives, managers and employees to:

  1. Prepare for difficult conversations.
  2. Resolve a specific conflict.
  3. Improve your skills in conflict resolution.
  4. Identify and manage behaviours.
